Graduation Requirements

University of California and California State University a-g Subject Requirements

Grades must be C’s or better

a. History/Social Science (including 1 year of U. S. History, 2 Years

American Government, World History)

b English 4 Years

c. Mathematics (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 or IM 1, IM2, IM3) 3 Years

(UC recommends 4 years; CSU recommends math thru senior year)

d. Laboratory Science ( 1 biological & 1 physical) 2 Years

(UC recommends 3 years)

e. Language other than English 2 Years

(UC recommends 3 years)

f. Visual and Performing Arts (art, drama, music) 1 Year

(10 credits in same course) See approved DC course list for UC/CSU

g. Electives 1 Year
