MATERIALS + FINISHESEach Collector’s Shelving System is fabricated in-

house from solid materials and hand-applied artisan

finishes. On page 28 you will see a grid that shows our

standard metal and wood finish combinations… but

don’t worry, we are more than happy to collaborate

with you to find the perfect finishes for your space.

MILLWORKOur state of the art woodshop and highly skilled

fabricators allow us the ability to offer both standard

and highly customized millwork options for your

Collector’s Shelving Systems.

LIGHTINGLED Light Bars can be integrated into each Collector’s

Shelving System. These bars are custom fabricat-

ed from our standard fittings so that they add light

without taking away from the refined, articulated

composition of the system. The wiring is concealed in

the metal framework and is fully assembled and tested

prior to shipment.

C U S T O M I Z AT I O N

PRICINGEach unit is quoted based on its unique configura-

tion. Typically, it takes us 2–3 days to provide you

with a custom proposal and a nifty little rendering of

your specific unit. We can provide you pricing based

on a verbal description of your unit, but of course

we love sketches and drawings. If you just need an

idea of budget, we can provide you with the costs for

each of the units shown in this brochure.

SHOP DRAWINGSOnce an order is placed and a deposit is received,

we create detailed shop drawings with 3D views for

your review and approval. We use this process to

make sure that nothing has been missed and that the

details of the installation have been considered. It is

so much better to make mistakes on paper than in

real life.

INSTALLATIONSDepending on your location, we are happy to

provide you with a cost to deliver and install your

custom units. However, in most cases the installations

can be handled by your local contractor. To assist in

the process, we are more than ahppy to speak with

your installer at any point in the process. We have

literally hung our units from ceilings and beams, at-

tached them from floor to ceiling and had them can-

tilevered off of walls. The more we know about your

final installation up front, the better job we can do in

helping to make sure that all of the attachments and

blocking considerations have been detailed during

the shop drawing process.

ORDERINGEven though we ship units around the world, we still

handle all quoting and order processing from our

Philadelphia headquarters. Call us obsessive, but we

really like to make sure that we know what you need

and that you get exactly what you want.

FABRICATIONOnce we receive approval on our shop drawings,

we begin fabrication of your custom unit in our

60,000-square-foot custom fabrication space. Artisan

fabricators will mill your shelves and cabinets from

raw lumber whiel your solid brass or gunmetal fittings

are individually turned in state-of-the-art machining

centers. Each omponent is hand-finished before be-

ing assembled by our dedicated team. A lot of work

goes into each custom unit, but we work really hard

to get these to you as quickly as possible. Our stan-

dard fabrication times are 8–10 weeks after approval

of shop drawings.
