When two or more people/ organizations work together to share ideas, opinions, and experiences to accomplish a task bringing their own individual insights, ideas, perspectives and expertise and use them to achieve a common goal.

CollaborationIn Barbara Gray's Collaborating: Finding Common Ground for Multiparty Problems, She describes collaboration as "a processthrough which parties who see different aspects of a problem can constructively explore their differences and search for solutions that go beyond their own limited vision of what is possible."
