Empowering Educators to Lead

• Collaboration Grants provide educators the opportunity to collaborate on plans for teacher professional growth and success tailored to local needs.

• Teachers create for themselves what every professional deserves: a clear career path, opportunities for feedback, relevant and individualized training, and recognition for leadership and results.

The Components

Meaningful Performance Evaluation

•A professional growth tool that relies on clear standards and advances the quality of teaching and learning. Gains in professional and student growth are measured in multiple ways.

Targeted and Relevant Professional Development

• Educators are given the resources and support they need to improve their teaching practices and stay at the leading edge of their craft.

New Career Paths

• Create significant leadership roles that support educator growth and better outcomes for students such as mentoring and instructional coaching.

Expanded Compensation Models

• Traditional salary schedules are revised to reflect how districts value new leadership roles, responsibilities and educator and student growth.
