‘Untitled photograph’ by David Hockney.

I think the photographer is trying to give the audience a very important message. He shows us that everything is made of many parts, colours, shades and sizes. I think it also shows us that everything we see is like a puzzle. This is an important photograph because it reminds us that nothing is made out of one thing, and that everything is made out of multiple parts therefore without one piece the object is incomplete and they wouldn’t exist.

Evaluation Of Group Joiner

This collaboration really has inspired me and I believe is a very effective form of photography. They look like they have been taken by one person but is a lot more complex than that, one of the major things this project needed was good team work which I think our group did really well which is why we have ended up with an amazing final result. The group we’re required to stick together and be patient to do this collaborative well. At first I found it very confusing because some of us were unsure what to take a picture of and what exactly we were doing, but as we went a long everyone got the hang of it and came up with some great pictures. Picking which photographer to use was slightly difficult as some of them had completely different technique on the on the object and didn’t fit well with what we were doing, however we managed to use this to our advantage and create a more abstract piece.

Evaluation Of Individual Joiner

The joiner I did by myself was edited and put together on Photoshop unlike the group one where it was done by hand and needed a lot more time. I feel using Photoshop made the task a lot easier because we didn’t have to worry about physically putting pictures in the right places and seeing where they fit. I still followed most of the ways we used for the group joiner on my individual joiner such as making some pieces bigger than others and some parts being more zoomed out than others. Overall I think I achieved better than what I had expected personally.

Evaluation Of Documentary Photographs

I personally really enjoyed this whole project, and the fact that it was towards the beginning of our course it gave us that chance to communicate and work with others in the class, this has really benefited me since then because now I can get feedback from various people in the class on my work and I think works towards the improvement of my photography skills. It was difficult at first because some members were shy and didn’t ask questions on what they were unsure of, but as it went on, more students started opening up and asking questions about anything they were unsure of, which is what made our collaborative so successful. One thing I have learnt whilst doing this collaborative is that you have to be careful and even sometimes be sneaky in taking your pictures out in public because there are some people out there that don’t want pictures of them taken or pictures of the products they are selling. I also have become a lot more confident due to the documentary work because a lot of the time I was required to ask stall owners their permission to take pictures and for them to say yes I had to be friendly and nice. Overall I believe that I have gained many skills from this collaborative and I feel that I’ve achieved what I set out to.
