• The Coca-Cola Company is an American multinational beverage corporation and manufacturer, retailer and marketer of non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

• Its current chairman and CEO is Muhtar Kent.• The company is known for its flagship product Coca

Cola.• 1886 – Invented by pharmacist John Stith

Pemberton in Columbus, Georgia.• 1889 - The Coca-Cola formula and brand was bought

in by Asa Griggs Candler and started distribution.• 1892 – The Coca Cola Company was incorporated.

• The company operates a franchised distribution system where The Coca-Cola Company only produces syrup concentrate which is then sold to various bottlers throughout the world who hold an exclusive territory.

• The Coca-Cola Company owns its anchor bottler in North America, Coca-Cola Refreshments. 

• Also according to the 2007 Annual Report, Coca-Cola had gallon sales distributed as follows:

• 43% in the United States• 37% in Mexico, India, Brazil, Japan and the

People's Republic of China• 20% spread throughout the rest of the world

HELLO HAPPINESS• 80% of the residents of UAE are migrant workers from

South Asia.• Most of the laborers there undergo hardship as they stay

in labor camps, working for many hours, away from their families and can make calls only rarely.

• Understanding this little concept, Coca cola came up with a very innovative initiative.

• In order to give labourers in the UAE a chance to talk just a little bit longer to their loved ones across the world, Coca-Cola created the Hello Happiness Phone Booth.

•  A special and inexpensive way to communicate with loved ones. Drink a bottle of Coca-Cola and use the cap as currency to dial home. Every cap equals a free three-minute international phone call. It's hello to happiness indeed. 

SUCCESS OF CAMPAIGN

• Over 1 million views of the campaign video on Youtube in less than a month.

• 134,484 minutes of calls logged in the month-long campaign.

• 40000 people made calls using this machine• Duration: 1 month (March 2014-April 2014)• Conversations on Youtube, Twitter, Facebook showed

95% of positive comments according to Coke.•  A meaningful campaign that shows that Coca-Cola
