Buckets are a cost effec:ive, low

maintenance tool for picking up

and movmg granular products.

Clamshell buckets are strong

and rugged. They can be used

safely in water and in extremely

harsh conditions. They are frequently used to move

sand, mill scale, gypsum and salt.

Magnet BeamsMagnet beams feature twin

bail pick-up, fixed length or

motorized telescopic Tri-Beam,

and hardened steel bushings

at magnet attachment points.

Spreader BeamsSpreaderb~am features include

Rotating Axis GrabsRotating axis grabs grip the

outside of the load and rotate

it to the proper position. They

are ideal for applications

involving loads that are pack-

aged or banded. They can be

operated manually or powered by an electric or air mo-

tor. Capacities up to 10,000 pounds are available.

Sheet LiftersSheet lifter features include

hand wheels, chain wheels

and motorized leg travel with

capability for straightening

stacks; low profile design; end

hooks; load weighing sys-

tems; and self-locking leg design, which prevents open-

ing under load. Designs are available for a variety of stack

heights, widths and lengths.



Bottom BlocksBottom blocks are avail-

able from stand-by to mill

spreader beam/coil grab.

Roll Handling Grab This custom designed grab

rotates and flips 9,000 pound

rolls of paper. It combines the

features of a rotating axis grab,

motorized coil grab and powered

rotation into one lifter.

Electrode GrabA steel producer was trying

to reduce maintenance

downtime when removing

electrodes from the furnace.

The old method for retrieving the electrode plate was

very complex and time consuming. This new motorized

grab is lowered into the furnace to grab the plate regard-

less of the furnace temperature. The electrode can now

be changed in about an hour, without human intervention.

Eye to the Sky This is a pallet lifter for eye to

the sky coil handling. It is used

to remove slit mults from a

storage conveyor.

Unique Coil GrabThis customer needed a better

way to lift forged rings into and

out of a row of vertical turret

lathes. The rings had been lifted

manually using chains and slings.

This new lifter allows the crane

operator to insert and remove

the rings in a fraction of the time and with less personal

risk and less chance of damaging the ring. The lifter can

handle the customer’s complete range of ring sizes.
