Your flowers were of excellent quality and high in numbers! Many thanks to all of you and especially Phyllis who made sure everything was well coordinated. We had a very nice May meeting that ended in a wonderful program on show winners which was put together by Phyllis. The program was so successful that it will be used to create a couple of other programs that will be presented to garden clubs. I'm sure most of you knew Tag recently had major surgery. It was wonderful to see her at the Executive Committee meeting! A few of the items decided at that meeting were: 1. We will be going to two issues of CODS Corner as the associated costs have increased. 2. Next year's show dates are April 14 & 15, 2007 with set up on April 13 at 1:00 p.m. If you have suggestions for next year's show, please contact Phyllis or myself. 3. There is a great, new daffodil site called daffseek.org. which can help you identify that "misplaced" bulb. There are color photos for quite a few of the named varieties, and the "find" fields are very easy to use. 4. Bulbs dug from Whetstone Park will be cleaned at Phyllis' home at 10:04 a.m. on August 17, 2006. Please let her know if you can attend as lunch will be provided. 5. The Midwest Regional Meeting will be October 21, 2006. Hopefully you have been able to dig your bulbs by now and have placed all your bulb orders. Until you hear from me again, happy planting too! We had a very nice May meeting that ended in a wonderful program on show winners which was put together by Phyllis. The program was so successful that it will be used to create a couple of other programs that will be presented to garden clubs.

I'm sure most of you knew Tag recently had major surgery. It was wonderful to see her at the Executive Committee meeting! A few of the items decided at that meeting were:

1. We will be going to two issues of CODS Corner as the associated costs have increased.

2. Next year's show dates are April 14 & 15, 2007 with set up on April 13 at 1:00 p.m. If you have suggestions for next year's show, please contact Phyllis or myself.

3. There is a great, new daffodil site called daffseek.org. which can help you identify that "misplaced" bulb. There are color photos for quite a few of the named varieties, and the "find" fields are very easy to use.

4. Bulbs dug from Whetstone Park will be cleaned at Phyllis' home at 10:04 a.m. on August 17, 2006. Please let her know if you can attend as lunch will be provided.

CODS SHOW REPORT

The Central Ohio Daffodil Society Show "Easter in Bloom" was held on April 15-16, 2006. The show was far larger than expected as this should be early in our season.
