A nurnber following address G determines the
rneaning of the cornrnand for the concerned block.
G codes are divided into the following two types.
(Exarnple)
Gol and GOO are modal G codes in group 01.
GO1X - Z -. .' } Gol is effective in this range.

The following G codes are offered.

3. PREPARATORY FUNCTION (G FUNCTION)
(Note 1) G rodes marked 7 are initial G codes when turning power on. For G20 and G21, : the G code before turning power off remains. GOO, Gol , G90 or G91 can be selected by
1 parameter settin:
i (Note 2) G codes of group 00 are not modal. They are only effective in the block in which
they are specified.
I (Note 3) lf a G code not listed on the table of G codes is inputted, or optional G code not
specified in the systern is cornmanded, an alarm (No. 010) is displayed. !
(Note 4) A nurnber of G codes can be specified in the sarne block. When more than one G
code of the sarne group is specified, the G code specified later is effective.
(Note 5) lf any G code of group 01 is specified in a canned cycle rnode, the canned cycle is
autornatically cancelled and the G80 condition is entered. However a G code'of group 01 is not
affected by any of the canned cycle G codes.
(Note 6) A G code is displayed from each group.
