When creating short films, you are normally looking at a very low budget. The reason for this is because the

produces for short films are normally just starting out and they are needing to be scouted.

You are normally looking at a budget of around £100 - £500

BUDGET

You normally don’t have short films lasting longer than 35 minutes.

You will typically find that the average short film is between 5 to 20 minutes long.

You don’t want to have your short film lasting for too long as it could start to have the conventions of a feature length

film.

LENGTH

You will normally find that your short film, will have an element of the real word for the situations you find they are

based on.
