Make-Up;

The females on R&B

magazines tend to have

large dramatic make-up

along with either big

sexy or smooth slicked

back seductive hair.

The make used on the

women is quite

seductive especially

when they use dark

smokey coloured eye

make-up along with red

lipstick.

Exposed skin;

Many women in the R&B

industry have a

minimum amount of

clothing. Their legs,

stomachs and top area

of their bodies are

usually exposed and

this allows the male

audience desire them,

while the female

audience envy them or

idolise them.

Legs & Heels;

Majority of women in

the R&B industry wear

heels to allow their

legs to look longer

especially due to the

fact they mostly wear

short clothes, they

would want their legs

to look longer and

draw attention to

them. This point

however does not

relate to

choreographed scenes

as the women are then

wearing trainers.

Jewellery;

Large, noticeable

jewellery are usually

worn on majority of

females. This is most

probably used to draw

more attention to

them. In the R&B

industry, it is

usually the men that

wear heavy jewellery

to signify their

status, but women on

the other hand wear it

as necessary accessory

or may also wear it to

signify their status.
