Jnus Sdn. Bhd was founded in 2011 with strong passion for spreading sophisticated mobile solutions in Asia. Jnus’s mission is to design the better life with mobile technologies, and deliver them all in Asia.

Our parent company, Baccass Inc is growing as a mobile software house to best serve their client in Japan, focusing on developing iOS and Android applications with the full-fledged engineer team. Jnus operation is strongly supported by their leading-edge experiences and resources.

‣ Management Team

Received a bachelor of economics degree at Seikei University in Japan. At Fourth grade, He stayed in California State University of Long Beach taking Business Management course. Received a Master of Art degree at New York Institute Of Technology. Under the Master degree, he studied web application development. At the year of 2004, moved back to Japan, and started his career at ABeam Consulting Ltd, spun out of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu’s Japanese consulting. In 2006, he joined OPT Inc. , which is one of the major interactive advertising agency, and started up Mobile Search Business with some partner as the one in charge of business strategy, contract, and sales operation. At the year of 2008, started up BACCASS inc with Hiroyuki Ooiwa.

Senior Vice President / Chief Creative OfficerHiroyuki OoiwaBorn in Aichi, in Japan. Enrolled in a Master of science degree at Shizuoka University, but left from degree with a passion of being creative person. Then he moved to Tokyo and joined Yamada Creative Inc. He worked as a designer creating brochure, poster and web site. Then he joined Megumi inc, where he produced some of TV commercial films and motion graphics. At the year of 2004, he started his career as creative director in OPT Inc. He directed for contents development for major portal site and starting up interactive media. In 2008, he started up his own corporation, BACCASS Inc. with Eisho Akiyama.

Received a Master of Education in Workforce Development Indiana University of Pennsylvania, US, then joined MetLife International USA as compliance officer. With his extreme language proficiency (English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Malay) and communication skills, he took responsible for finance and HR manager to positions at Japanese and foreign affiliated companies as a senior consultant at TMT Consulting Firm. In April 2010, he joined Duns & Bradstreet, then now he is a director taking responsible for creating and delivering sales strategy for company, product range or designated market.

Tablet computers, such as iPad and Android tablet, are not best solution for input action. Sometimes software keyboard might annoy people when they need to write memo fast. On the other hand, Those are best for carrying and archiving a lots of books and paper handouts. With this facts, we come to one conclusion. Our application should be concentrated on polishing User-Interface for "Reading" and "Accessing" documents. We try to make them easy to use, never annoy people to learn how to use application itself.

We realize that application developer needs to enhance advantages of using new technology, then lead people toward right direction. Since broad spread of personal computers and mobile devices, the technologies start to change human behavior. Some of them affects in a positive way, some of them in a negative way.

‣ Our Philosophy for Document Reader Application in a class room

We feel one of human basic behaviors getting disappear gradually, that is "Writing". Since personal computers are being the breath of human life, "Typing" behavior begins to exceed "Writing". We think this change of behavior affects people in the negative way. As a matter of fact, some of the studies clarify the writing act makes human brain more active than typing act.

We propose that the right way of learning is "Writing more, carrying less". Our document reader application "Coco Reader" are fully designed along with this philosophy. We focus to make our application easy to use, cut off unnecessary functions, then refine its interface design as much as possible.

As Coco system is allowed to access the university network, some of the Coco reader features are unlocked, but it’s not necessary. Coco System can be stand-alone system.
