The challenge of Coca-Cola Magic campaign was to evoke emotional

intimacy towards Coca-Cola brand and to strengthen the brand

perception as innovative among Armenian young and active people.

First time in Armenia, the Augmented Reality technology was used as a

marketing tool. A comprehensive promotion campaign was run to ensure

the target audience engagement.

As a result, the campaign considerably increased the Coca-Cola brand

perception among local population evoking positive emotions and

triggered intense sharing among the users via word-of-mouth.

The Augmented Reality powered app allows the user to

experience the magic with Coke.

It enables to spread Coca-Cola Christmas message using

multimedia content (3D animation, video, photos) through the

specially selected markers:

- Coca-Cola bottles

- bus stop posters

- sticker markers in youth active places (mall, cinema, cafes)

The app is available for Android and iOS operation systems.

Coca-Cola Magic app could be downloaded from specially

generated QR-code, which appeared on bus stop posters,

flyers and Facebook page.

Developed primarily for the Armenian market, the app is

now being considered as another new media tool by The

Coca-Cola Company.

- To increase the target group engagement, a viral video

was launched before the app kick-off.

- A Coke branded area nearby sticker-markets provided full

information on how to use the app.

- Facebook page activation created a platform for

everyone to share their experiences.

The campaign went viral and people

started actively sharing their photos:

in the malls, at workplace and cafes,

in the streets using

#cocacolamagic hashtag on their

Facebook and Instagram pages…

Branding agency on the Coca-Cola Magic application powered by Augmented Reality technology, which allows the user to experience the Holiday magic with

Coca-Cola and spread the Coca-Cola Christmas message.

While holding the device on the Coke logo on the Coca-Cola bottles, outdoor

advertising posters and special markers placed in the shopping mall floors in the high traffic zones, the consumers experienced the magic of the Christmas via

different multimedia content and advertising copies.
