Cobham Wireless Launched TM500 WCDMA Network Testing Systems

Last month, Cobham Wireless has announced about the launch of its latest version of industrial standard product as TM500 WCDMA network testing system, which is available with huge compatibility of emulating four different cells and approximately hundreds of various mobile terminals by using a single type of bench top unit.

According to technological researchers and professors working under best engineering colleges in India, combination of six different TM500 into a single rack-mounting unit will allow the network operator or vendor of infrastructural facilities to validate usage of real-time data applications with the help of WCDMA network.

Here, the WCDMA network contains 24 different cells to support about thousands of terminals in fully controlled lab environment. Newly launched TM500 network plays its major role in supporting 3GP Release as HSPA+, HSUPA and HSDPA and Release 8 DC-HSDPA types of operations.

Best thing about the system, as revealed by researchers related to best engineering colleges in India is that it shares same type of hardware platform, as one will find in case of TM500 LTE-A test system and thereby, allows for usage of same units for not only 3G, but also in case of 4G network validation requirements.

TM500 Family is a type of scalable test systems to allow validation of network performance as faced by many end users around large numbers of cells and varieties of radio access technologies. With the help of highly integrated data solutions, it has become possible for technicians of the industry to measure entire performance of the network that too starting from RF ranges to up to packet core signals.
