Our goal is to develop ways to support the relationship among teachers and coaches in a way that benefits student learning.Our hopes are for our action research project to be of benefit for all teachers involved in Saskatchewan Rivers School Division coaching initiatives.
Our vision
Saskatchewan Rivers School Division already has coaches. Based on personal experience and research we believe strengthening the coach-teacher relationship will benefit students.
Context
Teachers might have a lack of knowledge about why they are getting a coach or how the process works.
A large number of teachers are working with coaches and resources are limited.
Teachers and coaches have limited opportunity to meet.
Teachers have different learning styles and preferences.

Resources and Partnerships
1. Develop a website to support building positive relationships among teachers and division learning coaches.
2. Use the website to get feedback on the coaching process. This information will help inform division coaches as they strive to answer the research question:

Why a website?
Three sets of surveys involving teachers in Saskatchewan Rivers coaching initiatives, including multiple choice and open-ended questions.
We will look for emerging themes and patterns in the data. The intent is to use this analysis to help transform the coaching experience for all involved.
