CTPAT Current status:
8322 participants
7469 validations complete; 830 revalidations
252 Tier 3 companies
COAC still pushing for exporters to be included in CTPAT

Importer Security Filing (“10+2”)
CBP received more than 300 comments; have finished analysis Will release data layouts soon – work with trade on refining
COAC will probably coordinate trade input
Final Rule being drafted – published by late Summer at soonest

US submitted proposed amendments to align Importer Security Filing with SAFE Framework of Standards data elements Under consideration at WCO
US heavily criticized by WCO for 100% scanning proposal
Private Sector Consultative Group working on 2008-9 roadmap Includes mutual recognition, benefits, and capacity building
