Psyche's Last Lecture Series
"If you had one last lecture to give, ONE FINAL MESSAGE, what would it be?"
The Last Lecture Series is a series of lectures given by teachers discussing life lessons, principles, teaching experiences, and the choices that make up life.
Inspired by a similar lecture series in Carnegie Mellon, most notably the lecture given by the late Randy Pausch, a teacher who had pancreatic cancer. It is also drawn from the premise “If you had one last lecture to give, one final message, what would it be?” But far from being morbid, the lectures themselves are not about death or dying, but about living. They are life affirming.
Catch Dr. Maria Ramos (Department of Psychology) and Dr. Ray Aguas (Department of Theology) on February 3, 2012 (4:30-7:30)andSir Jope Guevara (Department of Philosophy) and Sir Robbie Reyes (Department of Theology) on February 13, 2012 (4:30-7:30)

blueREP's Bare
In line with its 20th year anniversary, Ateneo BlueREPERTORY of the Loyola Schools Performing Arts Cluster proudly presents “BARE: A POP OPERA” --- Broadway’s most amazing musical that tells the story of two boys at a Catholic school and the struggles they must go through because of their love for each other.
“BARE: A POP OPERA” ran at the Hudson Theatre in Los Angeles, California from October 2000 - February 25, 2001. The New York production of Bare, at the American Theatre of Actors off-Broadway, ran from April 19 - May 27, 2004. The Los Angeles production and the New York production were both directed by Kristin Hanggi.
Due to insistent public demand after its initial SOLD-OUT THREE-WEEK RUN in 2009, the Ateneo blueREPERTORY decided to revive “BARE: A POP OPERA” as the featured season finale for school year 2011-2012, a marked precedent in the history of productions produced by the student organization.
Directed by ANA ABAD SANTOS (Repertory Philippines’s A Portrait of the Artist as a Filipino and director of Hamlet and blueREP’s first run of BARE in 2009) with assistant director BEA GARCIA (blueREP Alumna, Atlantis Production’s Next to Normal and Spring Awakening and Dulaang UP’s Rizal X), “BARE: A POP OPERA” runs February 29-March 10, 2012 in Teatrino, The Promenade, Greenhills.
