CO2 transfer lines on YB0
5/16/13
o Review held on the 17th of April was successful and this project has been endorsed as baseline.
Thanks to all of you for this effort !
o Committee report outlined a few issues. In particular: a. Examining the possibilities of connecting the independent
vacuum of the two jacketed lines at the connection box.b. It is much preferable if the vacuum jacketed transfer line can
be continued into the inside of the vacuum tank. c. The currently scheduled windows for verifying design and for
installation are too late/short. The Master schedule and coherent placement of order/delivery are to be adapted accordingly in cooperation with TC. …the revision should include reasonable contingency.

Connecting vacuum at the intermediate junction box
o Seems do-able within the envelope of the present junction box
o It will be an option in the new offer from DeMaCo

Pipes ending inside the vac-tank
o Top sectors have no issues.

CO2 transfer lines on YB0
5/16/13
PP1 +14C is the most challenging
Before installation of YE-4 seems the best option (a few days staggering with +Z installation window):
1. Skip task “Install 2 sets of CO2 pipes (including supports) on -Z” (no gain) 2. Skip task “YB0- restore vac-tank environment” or partially skip it (gain of up to 2 weeks) 3. Scaffolding from YE-1 removed (currently Dec 6, 2013)4. Move YBs –Z away from vac-tank (new), (loss of 2 days)5. Install new CO2 pipes –Z (new), (loss of 5 days)6. Restore vac-tank environment, (loss of up to 2 weeks)7. Move YBs –Z on vac-tank and lock (new), (loss of 2 days)8. At this point back to same sequence as current schedule starting with “Move YE-1-2-3 towards IP”,

Where we stand
5/16/13
o Need to finish the technical specifications (now ready to be circulated)
o Need to finalize the end points and specially find a decent solution for PP1 +14
o Agree on a later installation for the –Z endo Once the final offer is received, decide on the
vacuum connection at the junction box.o Define/specify the sample piece for welding
inspection in order to qualify DeMaCo work.
