Work Instruction CK80_99 - JPN - Generate Cost Components Report

Purpose

Use this procedure to show the costs calculated in a material cost estimate across all production levels, broken down into cost components such as Raw Material, Pack Material, Bought In, Premiums, Subcontracting, and Conversion Cost etc.

Trigger

Perform this procedure when there is a need to generate a Cost Components Report.

Menu Path

Use the following SAP Easy Access menu path(s) to begin this transaction:

Accounting > Controlling > Product Cost Controlling > Product Cost Planning > Information System > Detailed Reports > For Materials > CK80_99 - Cost Components

1. In SAP, start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.

2. Double-click the Accounting node .

3. Double-click the Controlling node .

4. Double-click the Product Cost Controlling node .

5. Double-click the Product Cost Planning node .

6. Double-click the Information System node .

Set Controlling Area

Controlling Area

R Organizational unit within a company, used to represent a closed system for cost accounting purposes. A controlling area may include single or multiple company codes that may use different currencies. These company codes must use the same operative chart of accounts.All internal allocations refer exclusively to objects in the same controlling area.

Costing variant

R Contains all control parameters for costing, including parameters that control how cost estimates are executed and which material prices or activity prices are used to valuate the costing items. Example: PPC1

Costing version

R Method of distinguishing two or more cost estimates for the same material. Example: 1

Costing Date

R Date from which a costing run is valid. Example: 01.11.2008

Cost base R Quantity on which the displayed costs are based. Example: 1.000
