echnology is allowing marketers faster and better avenues for reaching targeted audiences. The Business Journal email rental program offers the most cost-effective channel for sharing your message with the area business audience you select. The program is comprised of multiple databases, each with thousands of executive decision-makers and their demographic information. The power of each database is not just the completeness and currency of the information but also the fact that these executives rely on Business Journal emails to receive the latest business news and information.

For a more comprehensive marketing effort, consider renting access to The Business Journal email list. This service allows you to send your email marketing message to the Business Journal audience through our email list-rental program. Your email message will be delivered by The Business Journal, and you will receive the performance metrics listed on the reverse side.

Requirements & Speci cationsCAMERA READY All email HTML must be table-based layouts; using

CSS only to control typography and color. There is a 600 pixels maximum width, 700 pixels

maximum height and up to 100K maximum le size (includes all images and html les).

All images must be JPG or GIF and 72 dpi. When constructing your email, you should avoid us-

ing HTML editors (Microsoft Word, Dreamweaver and others) because they often insert proprietary code, which not all mail clients will be able to read. For best results use a plain-text editor like Note-pad or EditPlus.

Flash, Rich Media, Image Maps and Javsacript are not available in email products.

HTML le images must be hosted by you (the cli-ent) or by a third party and must be re ected in the HTML code you submit to us.

We cannot accept an HTML message that is already contained in the body of an email message.

A blast that is entirely a linked image is NOT recom-mended, as today’s email platforms block images. An HTML email should be a combination of text and im-ages with a call to action within the text component.

All email HTML must be table-based layouts, using inline CSS only to control typography and color.

Full image paths in the code must be used (http://www.domain.com/images/graphic1.jpg).

If the HTML script comes to us as a Word document, a PDF le or an Excel le, we consider the email in need of full design services and a $300 charge will be applied.

If the le supplied is unmanageable and requires work, a $65/hour programming fee will be assessed.

WORKUPS URL(s) of or direct graphic image(s) to be included

in your email blast, including company logo, prod-ucts and other related images.

A clear concept to include marketing slogans and the mission of your campaign, to more rapidly as-sist us in preparing your email broadcast.

Images should be a minimum of 72 dpi, but higher resolution or original .EPS or Photoshop/Illustrator les are preferred.

You must give clear direction as to what graphics and text should be linked and which URL each should be directed to.
