CNB 76
CNB YaChts,
a philosophY, a BeNChmark
‘‘To design and build exceptional yachts, we have clear convictions: from the
first sketches to the last sea trials, we endeavour to combine thoroughness with
daring creativity, aesthetics with innovation, synthetic thinking with a unique
attention to the thousands of details, the clever combination of which creates a
successful yacht.
The principles that have been guiding our work and that of all of CNB’s staff
since 1987 come down to these simple facts: a sailing yacht built at our yard
must be seaworthy, innovative, elegant, luxurious, reliable, comfortable and
practical. She must be attractive, reassuring, exciting.
A CNB yacht is a “real” yacht designed for long hauls, whose only limits are the
ones dictated by general, practical seamanship.’’

CNB 76: From Custom to semi-Custom
The quintessence of CNB’s 25 years of excellence
Seaworthy, elegant, efficient, comfortable and easy to handle, the new CNB 76
embodies 25 years of CNB excellence.
With her superb proportions and a unique elegance signed by talented, world
famous naval architect Philippe Briand, her lines perfectly integrate a raised
saloon, ideal when sailing as well as at a mooring. The layouts are as harmonious
as they are comfortable and truly functional. Designed by designer Jean-Marc
Piaton, they can accommodate a professional crew whose presence and activity
shall by no means disturb the owner’s and his guests’ privacy.
The CNB 76: A luxury yacht to explore the seven seas with total peace of mind.

hull, deck…‘‘ Designing the CNB 76, we wished to create a safe and fast yacht, which makes
you want to sail long distances in total confidence. With a length of 76 feet (23.17
metres), the CNB 76 is a real luxury yacht but of a reasonable size, easy to
handle short-handed. Elegant and seaworthy, the CNB 76 is the fruit of all our
superyacht expertise.
Safe and efficient, thanks to the seaworthiness qualities of her hull and her
simple, efficient deck layout, the CNB 76 is also very welcoming with her large
interior spaces which directly connect with the outside.
Open onto the sea with the panoramic views that her raised saloon offers, the
CNB 76 has been designed to be as good when sailing as when at a mooring. ’’
Philippe Briand
A well-balanced, sleek sail plan - with her mast brought aft, the CNB 76’s sail plan allows a perfect distribution of the sail area between main sail
and foresails. the shipyard offers customised solutions to suit different types of sailing.
A large, uncluttered foredeck - the particularly clean deck layout allows clear passage along the wide side decks and access to the cockpit
made easy by the absence of breaks or significant differences of level.
A welcoming, ergonomic
cockpit
with a large and fully-equipped
maneuvering area, clearly separated
from the living spaces and centred
on the twin helming positions, the
CNB 76’s cockpit is altogether
efficient, safe and comfortable.
a retractable Bimini, hidden in the
roof, shelters the cockpit.
the tender storage area houses a 3.85m tender, which
is easily handled by an electric hoist; the large hydraulic
swimming platform extends to the sea and can then serve
as a launching ramp. this garage is flanked on each side
by large storage lockers.
the comfortable benches and the large two-position table are for
the owner and his guests to enjoy.
Particularly easy access to the interior thanks to a gently sloping asymmetric companionway. the latter is protected by a very efficient dodger, which
conveniently retracts into the roof when it is not needed. two large deck hatches, located aft of the cockpit benches, give an access to the galley and crew area.
A fast, powerful and reassuring hull - ultra-modern with its hard chine and sharp bow, the hull is well defended. the weight has been carefully
distributed to ensure excellent passage through choppy seas.
interiors‘‘We have sought to make a yacht as CNB as possible.
Through the years I have got to understand CNB’s identity and specific personality.
CNB builds yachts that are recognized by all for their seaworthiness, sound yachts
that are designed to sail the seven seas. But CNB yachts also express a kind of
elegance ‘‘à la Française’’, combining balance, symmetry, modesty and refinement
in every last detail.
In terms of design, this led us to create a reassuring interior, which reveals the
yacht’s modern, robust qualities. We wanted it to be at the same time classic and
innovative, graceful and contemporary, light and comfortable, and above all
pleasing to the eye and to live in.”
Jean-Marc Piaton
saloon
A very large, bright, particularly
modular saloon offers more than 2
metres headroom, as everywhere
else in the yacht. Being the yacht’s
main entertaining area, the saloon
is off-centered so as to allow easy
movement below deck.

the saloon provides panoramic views on the horizon even when seated.
the comfortable, welcoming sofa on
the port side can be converted in a
very original manner into two facing
armchairs separated by a bar, as
convivial when at anchor as they are
comfortable when heeling.
owner’scabin
The owner’s cabin, peaceful and
bathed in light thanks to the three
portholes and three opening deck
hatches. it is located forward so as to
be isolated from the noise of life on
board.
The practical, refined bathroom
is well insulated. it separates the
owner’s cabin from the guest cabin to
port to ensure perfect soundproofing.
guestcabins
The CNB 76’s port side guest
cabin features a large double bed
which can be separated in two in
less than one minute. it can then be
converted, if needed, into two sailing
berths or twin berths at a mooring.
To starboard, a guest cabin for
teenagers or younger children. it is
fitted with bunk beds: the lower one
can convert into a double bed, thus
allowing three young people to be
accommodated in this cabin.

Aft, a double cabin with deck access,
designed for professional crew usage
or guests.
galley
Located in the aft area, which is
also the dedicated space for the crew
when there is one, the CNB 76 galley
is really spacious and voluminous.
Very light, perfectly well-ventilated,
superiorly equipped, it is both user-
friendly and professional. it has a very
large refrigeration unit and practical
waste storage solutions.
a large hatch gives a direct access
to the cockpit and can be used for
serving.
An advanced engine-room
ideally located amidships, with water and fuel tanks to optimise weight
distribution, the CNB 76’s engine room is perfectly designed for easy
management and maintenance of the yacht’s different propulsion and
energy systems. the sound insulation has been carefully studied.
A convertible forecastle
right in the bow, the large
forecastle can be converted into a
second crew cabin. with its own
access from deck, two berths, a
shower and toilet, it provides a
professional crew with essential
autonomy.
