Mahindra First Choice Wheelssells 1 lakh vehicles
Ahmedabad,Mahindra First Choice Wheels said that it has
sold one lakh vehicles through its 'Autobid' auc-tion platform. The platform has conducted nearly7,500 auctions with over 6,500 buyers acrossnearly 900 locations.
According to Nagendra Palle, CEO, of the com-pany said, "Autobid is a world class auction plat-form that allows for immense flexibility in auctionformats which provides excellent liquidity for sell-ers and buyers, producing the best vehicle val-ues for either customer, with a high conversionrate. The one lakh actual transactions representthe number of vehicles sold through the platformand this scale is testament to the efficacy of theplatform and the efficiency of our team."
The company is working on launching a se-ries of products and value added services to sup-port the used vehicle market. It has recentlylaunched two value added services, 'AutoInspekt',its vehicle evaluation service, and 'IBB', whichprovides pricing guidance for buyers and sellers.
Moily says no roll-back of hike infuel prices
Bangalore, Petroleum Minister M. Veerappa Moily Mon-
day ruled out a roll-back in the recent hike ofRs.1.50 for a litre of petrol and 45 paise for a litreof diesel.
Asked if the government would roll back thehike, Moily said "no".
"It is only a small increase and people willunderstand," Moily told reporters on the marginsof a function to commission a 1,000km pipelinefrom Dhabol in Maharashtra to Bangalore to bringnatural gas to Karnataka for the first time.
The pipeline, built by GAIL India at a cost ofRs.4,500 crore, would bring natural gas to powerindustries in eight districts, including Bangalore.
Moily said work was on to provide piped cook-ing gas to household in Bangalore and also forsupplying natural gas to automobiles in the city.
