2016 CRR Activity Schedule

•Where necessary to avoid overlapping bid windows with monthly auctions, two Seq3 LTAS auctions and one Seq4 LTAS auction were pushed back by one week

• 2018.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq3• 2019.1st6.AnnualAuction.Seq4• 2019.1st6.AnnualAuction.Seq3

2016 CRR Activity Schedule

• The Credit Release and Invoice Posting columns were combined:

• Column heading is now “Auction Invoice Posted and Credit Released On or Before This Date”

• The dates for both are always the same

• Removes extra column, making the calendar easier to read

•No substantial holiday conflicts observed

• 2018.1st6.AnnualAuction.Seq3 only moved back by 1 week to avoid overlapping bid window with 2017.JAN.Monthly.Auction

• Biggest potential conflict is opening the bid window for the 2019.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq4 auction on 1/2/2018• Falls in line with the typical Tuesday through Thursday bid window

• 2016 CRR Activity Schedule Endorsed by CMWG without comment

FIS Reports & Market Information Asymmetry • Brad Bell of E.On brought draft NPRR/PGRR language for discussion• Potential for unintended consequences relating to project

confidentiality• Is a standardized Executive Summary for Stability Studies the answer?• ERCOT (Jeff Billo) will convene a small meeting with TSPs and IEs to

explore potential solutions and bring them back to CMWG

Dynamic line ratings in Off-Peak CRR Model• Luminant presented a proposal to utilize off-peak temperatures in the

CRR auctions (including the LTAS and monthlies)• The proposal would improve the representation of the transmission

system for dynamically rated lines in the off-peak• Would increase off-peak CRR availability with limited risk of over-sell• Doubles computing needs to build both models • Requires model to pull outages twice, bumping the schedule a day

which would miss the weekly outage model load

Multiple GTCs in the Panhandle

• At RPG the concept was raised of multiple GTCs in the Panhandle• Short Circuit Ratio and Voltage Stability could have different interfaces with

different GTLs• Potential item for November CMWG meeting
