Hebrews 4:12 (New International Version) 12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

**“A Life Well-Spent” was written by Allison Allen specifically to ponder and illuminate the questions that all artists who walk with Christ will have – Questions of value, eternal worth, as well as wrestling with the specter of discouragement. Having presented this drama in different settings, not one means as much to her, as being able to share it, here, with fellow sojourners who long to bring something of Christ’s lasting beauty to earth.

SUPPORT TEAM

In the book of Revelation, Jesus speaks specifically to several different churches in several different cities. What is interesting about this is that when Jesus addresses each church, he speaks to the many churches of that city as one church. Jesus still sees the church in the same way. If He were to write a letter to the many different churches of many different denominations in the city of Buffalo, He would write it to the Church At Buffalo. Under the same spirit of unity, Benji and Jenna Cowart have partnered with Nashville producer Matt Armstrong (who is a Buffalo native) and several Nashville songwriters to create an EP of worship songs called Letters To The Church At Buffalo that were written with the amazing people that make up the Church at Buffalo in mind.

That’s why I use the Sennheiser 2000 Series handheld transmitters in combination with Sennheiser dual pattern condenser e965 capsules for all of our vocals. Skool of RockMost youth ministries greatest struggle with music is often not having enough musicians. Couple this with the constant revolving door of graduation once a teen gets good and it can be frustrating. The problem lies with not having a system to develop the young musicians surrounding you. Skool of Rock is a program that can be used and adapted in any church to develop your next musicians. We have been using this system since creating it in 2004 and other people have used it with success. Come learn the philosophy, then you create your own method. Its the only skool where your teens will desire more homework.

How do we keep singing God’s praises when life is the pits? And as a worship leader, what happens when we no longer feel like “singing of His love forever”? If we are honest with ourselves, everyone has days when we don’t feel like worshipping, especially when God is taking through a season of brokenness. As we look at scripture together, come see how brokenness is actually at the very center of authentic worship.
