In the book of Revelation, Jesus speaks specifically to several different churches in several different cities. What is interesting about this is that when Jesus addresses each church, he speaks to the many churches of that city as one church. Jesus still sees the church in the same way. If He were to write a letter to the many different churches of many different denominations in the city of Buffalo, He would write it to the Church At Buffalo.
