COME RIDE THE WILDLIFE CAROUSELAND CLIMB THE NEW ROCK CLIMBING WALLThe Zoological Society is a private sector, 501(c)3 non-profit NJ
corporation that works along with the county government to
improve the Zoo for our visitors, staff and most of all the living
creatures in our care. The Zoological Society owns and operates
the Hummingbird Express Train, Wildlife Carousel and the Rock
Climbing Wall. Ride tokens can be purchased at the Train Station.
THE SAFARI CAFE Swing by the Safari Cafe for a quick snack or a full meal. The cafe
has a wide variety to choose from including cheeseburgers, tuna
wraps, pretzels, nachos, pizza, funnel cake and ice
cream. The Safari Cafe is open seasonally. Please
remember that food is not permitted in the zoo.

Park Hours: 9:00am to dusk
Zoo Hours: Summer hours: 10:00am - 4:45pm
Winter hours: 10:00am - 3:45pm

SPECIES SURVIVAL PLAN (SSP)SSP began in 1981 by the Association of Zoos andAquariums as a cooperative population managementand conservation program for selected species in zoosand aquariums. Each SSP manages the breeding ofa species to maintain a healthy and self-sustaining population. When you see this symbol at an exhibityou know that animal belongs to this program.

OUR PRISTINE PARK AND ZOO which is accredited by theAssociation of Zoos and Aquariums features more than 550inhabitants representing 250 species that occupy over 200
acres of beautiful natural wooded areas and open spaceparcels. Maintained in their natural state are winding
trails popular among hikers, bikers, joggers andwildlife watchers. Picnic areas,fishing ponds,a disc golf course, tennis courts, a softball
