The past season has had its ups and downs while the payout has been a lot better than most predicted, milk production has not been as good in some areas due to the dryer climate. Ironically, now most farmers in the area have had enough of the recent rain. Fonterra’s recent announcements for the forecast payout for next season is very good news for the area and will give farmers confidence when working out budgets for the coming season. Unlike the myth, liners do not perform better once they’re worn in. Milking Machine Testing and Servicing The off season has proven to be a busy time for the team at CCMP.
Our machine test promotion has been extremely well supported; and our team has carried out nearly three times the amount of tests compared to this time last year. This also allowed us to get a head start on any of the maintenance work required to keep your equipment running efficiently.
A milking machine test is a relatively inexpensive way of identifying parts of your milking machine that need attention, parts that if left alone can cause health problems for your cows and compromise your milk quality. CCMP have a team of five MPTA qualified testers, Craig (Clu), Aaron, Denis, Susannah and, recently, Thomas. If you still do not have your machine test booked in, give the team at CCMP a call.
