1. Livelihood Portfolio Analysis

Study the income pattern of the community as per Wealth Being Ranking on a random basis.

The sample size needs to be 1 per cent of the HH in the cluster

2. Loan Portfolio

Study the loan portfolio of the SHG members on a random basis especially the following:

Purpose of loan Frequency of loan Amount of loan Amount outstanding Period of repayment

3. Resource Mapping

Prepare the resource Map to have an idea of the community -land-water-cultivation-conservation issues.

4. Inflow-Outflow

Prepare the inflow–outflow chart of products/services in the cluster with reference to local market, regional market, national market and international market. However while preparing the inflow – outflow chart kindly link it with seasonality matrix

5. Market Survey

Do a quick market survey to verify about the inflow-outflow of products/services by cross checking at the field.

6. Expenditure Mapping

Study the expenditure pattern of the SHG members as per seasonality on a random basis.

7. Key Informants Interview

Talk with influential people in the community about the cluster potential.

8. Prepare The List of Potential Livelihood
