President's Message Season's Greetings everyone. Well,hasn't it been an exceptional earlysummer so far! The temperatures havebeen amazing - maybe almost too hotfor some - with all areas of the countryenjoying many sunshine hours and dry conditions.It's an exciting time of the year as clubs start to buzzagain with activity and visitors. Please remember to befriendly and welcoming towards visitors to your club.This isn't to overwhelm them, when it's possibly a newexperience to them, but to make them feel includedshould they wish to be and so they know they can askany questions if they have them.This time of year can be tough for a lot of people dueto loss or illness of a loved one, loneliness orfinancial/work stress. So let's be kind to everyone and,

It has been a full on 12 months with a lottaken on and a lot achieved and I appreciate each oftheir efforts in their roles and contributions toFederation business as a whole. Federation's blog.The concept, which aligns to our gonatural tag-line of‘health and well-being’, will focus on two reallyimportant issues that many are faced with today -negative body image and mental health awareness.A negative body image is one of the key reasons thatmore people do not embrace the naturist lifestyle. Anddepression, anxiety, stress, loneliness and grief affectsthose close to most of us at some stage.Most of us know or have experienced how both ofthese issues can be greatly assisted by living thenaturist lifestyle and believe that clothes-freerecreation and getting close to nature could form partof a person's journey to whole health.We will continue to post, comment and sharethroughout the summer, however our posts andarticles can only reach so many. The bestrecommendation is always from a friend so we hopethat you will join us in spreading the word which justmight help someone with their struggle. Share ourposts and our blog. Take a risk and tell your friend orloved-one about the benefits you've experienced as anaturist and encourage them to give it a try. If you have experienced struggles in the past witheither a negative body image or aspects of mentalhealth and have found that naturism was the key tofinding some relief, maybe you could write and shareyour story. This can be done anonymously and mightjust help someone with their journey.The NZNF website has a lot of the answers toquestions frequently asked along with informationabout the physical benefits of naturism.If you have any queries or would like to share yourstory, please do not hesitate to contact the President.

Hopefully the story will featureon their website over the summer period.This year, the limited edition Christmas range fromLUSH has gone "naked" or package-free creating anumber of new products like solid body conditionersand shower gels which cut out packaging entirely.LUSH have offered a hamper of these “naked”products which will go to Wellington Naturist Club tobe auctioned at the Percy Cousins Trust Auctionduring the Te Marua Pioneer Village rally.We're very excited about this rare opportunity for theNZNF in sharing the benefits of naturism in acorporate setting.
