MANAGER’S REPORTIt’s such a great time of year right now, with great weather and so many exciting things happening. Make sure you’re coming down to the Club so you can be a part of it all!

On 29th March one of our lucky members will drive away in the Mitsubishi ASX. Good luck to all the entrants and even if you don’t have a key it is worth coming down to watch. The excitement of the event as well as the look on the winner’s face is always something we love to see.

This April we are running a great new promotion for our members with our Lucky Fortunes cash giveaways. Every Sunday from the 5th April two lucky members will win $100 cash and entry into the Major Draw on 31st May. The Major Draw will have 18 different cash prizes with 1st prize being $10,000 and the second prize $5000. The prizes will be revealed by the entrants smashing open fortune cookies. What will your fortune say?

As a thank you to our loyal members dinner is on us with a chance to win $100 Club Helensvale gift cards. Just swipe your membership card at the kiosk between 5-10pm Wednesdays and you could instantly win one of five cards.

At Café 22 we have a new Cappy Hour from 3.00pm to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. For only $5.90 you can get a cappuccino and a vanilla or caramel slice. Just perfect for fixing that afternoon slump! At blu bistro we will continue the $10 Chicken Schnitzel or $12 Chicken Parmigiana special on Mondays and Seafood Night on Wednesdays at blu bistro will be a scrumptious half lobster mornay for $17.90 - back by popular demand!

Some great raffles for Easter will be running on Thursdays and Fridays from 12th March to 2nd April. There will be chocolate easter egg baskets to be won plus our regular great prizes, 50 in total on Thursdays! The Easter Bunny will be visiting with eggs for the kids on Thursday 2nd April. Don’t forget Club Helensvale will be closed on Good Friday.

It is with solemn hearts that we will be celebrating the centenary of Anzac Day on the 25th of April. 100 years may have passed but the men and women who served our country will always be in our hearts. We invite you to join us at the RSL Dawn Service followed by our traditional gunfire breakfast, with two up events occurring later in the day. I hope to see you around the Club.

HELENSVALE HAWKS TO REPRESENT AUSTRALIAThree of our bowlers have been selected to represent Australia internationally again for the open teams at the Trans Tasman Series in Christchuch in New Zealand. The series is a three day event running from the 18th to 20th March. Brett Wilkie will be playing in the singles and pairs, and Mark Casey and Lynsey Clarke will be playing triples and fours discipline. Congratulations, we’re all so excited for them and we know they will do us proud while wearing the green and gold.
