In 1994, Empire magazine devoted a whole issue to TDR. The copy stil l stands as the most successful issue in terms of sales.

In many ways, the Designer's Republic work reflects the vibrant, fun and exciting club culture up and coming in Britain during the 90’s.
At the start Ian Anderson took influence from Russian Constructivism and the rest of their work reflects on this.
