Determine the right VMs to run your application

• Automatically configure your VM’s performance requirements by running our script.

• Select the minimum requirements on performance that your VM for CPU and disk. Filter between

local and SAN disk.

• Compare what you are currently spending to what you could be spending on alternative providers.

• The CloudSpecs Selection Engine provides a list of results showing the cost of each provider

tailored to your requirements on features, VMs, and performance.

Login Screen. Registration is a simple, standard process with email verification.


Create a new configuration. A configuration is a complete environment with one to multiple VMs.



Add security requirements such as: data encryption at rest, SSH keys, and identity access management.



Add compliance requirements such as: FISMA, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS



Add hardware requirements such as: AMD or Intel-based processors, SSD local or SAN disks, and 10-GB Ethernet connections.



Add additional requirements such as: geographical location, API access, various features and SLAs.



Manually add and configure servers (ideal for system administrators and development teams familiar with their environments and

system requirements).



By manually populating the fields, you can assign the amount of resources you need for the VM, as well as its Server Performance

requirements.



Configure servers based on existing infrastructure (ideal for developers that work on software and are unfamiliar with performance

requirements of their VMs).



Automatically populate vCPU RAM Disk based on your existing environment. Automatic population provides the users a script to

paste into their terminal or command prompt within an existing environment. Data is collected and returned to the UI.



Providers are filtered through based on feature requirements including: Support and Security, Data Center Locations and Regulatory

Compliance, Hardware, Networking and Access, Billing and Discounts, and SLAs (see slides 4-7).



Once a user’s requirements are met the CloudSpecs Selection Engine will display all providers that meet the requirements along with

their pricing for the user-defined environment.
