What Did Their Basic Outfit Consisted of?
A top hat very casual piece of clothing .A man also wore a very colorful vest. Made out of expensive silk with a bright
radiate color. Tailcoat considered to be a party suit. Walking stick, and white gloves acceptable.
Casual Clothing to Wear to a Party?
Today clothes, jeans, t-shirt, sneakers, sweatshirt.
This you see is more easy to wear and not casual.
Today seen in Victorian Era clothes people would stare, look out of place.
Victorian Era Clothing Comparison to Today's Clothing?
What Did The Poor Men Wear? A poor man had a small frock coat.Top hat normally with holes. Small pants and old boots. Normally these clothes were 5th hand clothes.
Age 5 dress for boy turns in to knickerbocker suit.
It consisted of baggy pants, shirt, and belted tunic.
Also brass buttons and braiding. Typical pre teen clothing for the time.
What Did The Young Boys Wear?
Made out of wool.Wore with a short sleeve shirt. Stockings and footwear.Plus shorts
What Was a Typical Bathing Suit For The Time?
Frock coat of blue, or mulberry.Flower favor in his lapel. Waist coat white. White gloves. Trousers doeskin.
