Photoshop Tools
Make a Folder
• Make a Folder Called “Photoshop Practice” and save these images there.
Open the distracting background picture in Photoshop
Make a copy of the background
Hint: drag background layer to new layer tab (next to the trash)
Select Clone Stamp Tool
It looks like a rubber stamp
Clone Stamp ToolOption Click in the picture to select a sample point. Imagine you’re painting over the part of the image you don’t want. Instead of dipping a brush in pain, you’re dipping it in another part of your image. Choose pixels that will match.We want to use the sky to cover up the distracting plant. So click in the sky. You can option click to change your sample point as much as you want.
Control Click to change the brush size.
Brush over the part you want to remove (in this picture the plant coming out of his head)
Until it’s gone and your blending looks natural
Spot Healing Tool – Open the acne picture in Photoshop
The spot healing tool is similar to the clone stamp tool.Instead of you picking a sample point, Photoshop blends the area you want to correct with similar pixels. It’s more subtle then the Clone Stamp.

Paint over the spots you want to remove
