Demonstrate ways to integrate Climate Resilience into National Development Plan, and

Support scaled-up actions and transformation in institutions and policies for climate change adaptation and resilience

3. Objective of the Workshop

To present PPCR work plan to the stakeholders, development partners and decision makers

To explain the PPCR/SPCR strategic goals, project structure and strengthen coordination mechanism to the stakeholders

To engage stakeholders in PPCR Projects, CCA, climate resilience initiatives etc.

To consult on the roles, supports and services of line Ministries/Institutions, Research Institutes, Academia, private sector, CSOs and other actors to enhance the implementation of the PPCR projects

To present the evaluation criteria and the significance in the context of CC adaptation

To Introduce the PPCR/SPCR Phase 2

4. Expectation

Decision makers supported and endorsed the PPCR implementation action plan

Stakeholders understood the key strategic goals, coordination mechanism, approaches , work plans and outcomes for PPCR five components

Stakeholders understood the project structure, capacity needs and enabled them to engage/participate in the PPCR projects, CCA and climate resilience

Stakeholders discussed, reached to consensus and committed on roles, supports and services in implementing PPCR projects

The Framework for Monitoring and Evaluation is presented and endorsed, including the M+E work plan and links to other partners

PPCR/SPCR phase 2 is introduced

To prepare, coordinate and monitor the implementation of policies, strategies, legal instruments, plans and programmes of the Royal Government of Cambodia to address climate change issues within the country, thus contributing to the protection of the environment and natural resources
