Title: Instrument and Electrical Inspector at Lubrizol LLC Houston TX.

Duties: Inspection for adherence to P.I.P. and N.F.P.A. 70 Instrument and Electrical systems installation standards of new projects at Lubrizol LLC (Houston). Ensure correct Installation of Emerson Delta V. CHARMS, M and S series D.C.S. I also witnessed loop checks, grounding testing, F.A.T. of Delta V cabinets and V.F.D.’s. and wrote test and outage procedures.

Duties: Coordinate and direct electrical and instrument subcontractors in constructing a 4 megawatt Gas turbine and H.R.S.G. Co-generation plant with a 20 thousand gallon propane LPG storage facility. I identified and field corrected design errors, and started up various subsystems (R.O. Plant, Boiler Controls, C.E.M.S., Gas and Fire Detection, Electrical substation, L.P.G. Gasification and Flow controls etc..) as well as the turbine and L.P.G. Storage plants.

Title: Site Supervisor at Hovensa LLC.

Duties: Site Supervisor over Civil, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation for the installation of a multi-pump oily water lift station. I designed the level control system, and ensured the subcontractors met N.E.C. cl. 1 div. 1 and 2 (Electrical) and class B piping requirements to complete the installation.

Title: Construction Coordinator

Duties: Provide coordination and management of project Electrical and Instrument personnel between Refinery Operations, and projects Piping and Civil departments to ensure client and contractor Safety and Environmental requirements were met, and assist the Projects Manager in improving constructability. I reviewed the E/I drawings from FEL 3 through IFC, and improved productivity by ensuring schedules were met, and by removing barriers in work practices that inhibited the success of the project or Turn Around activity.

Duties: Supervise Instrument Techs, Fitters, and Electricians on major and minor new construction and equipment updates at Hovensa LLC.

Title: Instrument and Electrical Inspector.

Duties: I wrote the testing procedure and certified the operation of 24 OSHA required Unit Shutdown Emergency isolation Systems throughout the Hovensa F.C.C. Unit and ensured the systems were installed to N.E.C. and Hovensa standards for new construction and craftsmanship.

Title: Capital Projects Group Electrical and Instrument Superintendent.

Duties: Supervise Electricians, Instrument Tech, and Fitters on major and minor new construction and equipment upgrades in all units at Hovensa LLC. I planned manpower requirements and scheduling, made material take offs, generated material requisitions, specified instruments, designed interlocks, generated loop sheets, wiring diagrams, and specification sheets. I wrote test procedures and trained operations personnel to use new systems. I participated at PHA, PSSR, and PSM meetings.
