We provide independent advice and Financial Life Planning services to individuals based in Sussex.

• We believe in providing the highest level of expertise in all areas of advice. Our founder has attained Certified Financial

Planner™ status and is one of less than 40 registered Life Planners® in the UK, trained and accredited by the Kinder Institute.

He is also a founding member of the Financial Life Planning Foundation, a Charity dedicated to improving financial

awareness among the general public.

• We don’t believe that bigger is better. At Bluecoat Wealth Management we plan to remain a boutique size firm, so our

clients continue to receive dedicated, specialist service.

Robin spent the early part of his career working for a large high street bank. This was back at the time when your local branch was central to your community, when banking customers were known by name and you had a personal relationship with your bank manager.

In 1997, after many years’ at the bank, Robin decided it was time to leave. He felt disillusioned that the bank was losing its community feel. He became an Independent Financial Adviser, so he could focus on meeting the needs of his clients - not selling products.

He now owns Bluecoat Wealth Management, a boutique Financial Life Planning business dedicated to providing independent advice and Financial Life Planning services to individuals based in Sussex.

Bluecoat is founded on old school values. Just like back at the bank. They operate a policy of working with a select number of clients, pre and post retirement, with which they build strong long-term relationships and deliver a consistently high level of service.

Robin also believes in giving back to the community. He is committed to leaving a corporate legacy through Bluecoat Wealth Management, applying the same principles as the legacy planning service they provide for their clients.

your way. We then work with you over the longer-term to manage your evolving financial plan, ensuring you

AXA, a worldwide leader in financial protection and wealth management, provides the underlying technology

infrastructure and reporting tools we use to manage your portfolio. We selected their Elevate platform after a

rigorous due diligence process. We based our decision on their dedication to investing in, and continuing to

evolve, the technology.

Technology Infrastructure and Reporting

Dimensional is the provider we have selected to manage the investment implementation for our client

portfolios. Founded in 1981, Dimensional manage passive investment portfolios constructed using rigid

academic principles. They work with just 200 financial planners across the UK, subject to the selected planners

undertaking rigorous due diligence and meeting their criteria.

established using our Risk Profiler.

This world-leading scientific financial risk

tolerance test is provided by Finametrica,

who use sophisticated techniques to help

assess, define and quantify how you feel

about investing and the risks involved.

Through a detailed analysis of your

responses, we generate a Risk Profile,

which we then discuss and agreed with

you.

Once your Risk Profile is agreed, we select

a strategic asset allocation to match your

risk/return criteria.

We offer a suite of 10 risk-constrained

Dimensional is our chosen investment

partner. They structure our portfolios

• We work hard to ensure our services and charging structure are flexible and transparent, so you always know exactly

where you stand. Prior to commencing any work we will agree all fees and charges with you.

• We offer an obligation-free, without charge Exploration Meeting. If you elect to proceed with Bluecoat, we will work

with you to create your Financial Life Plan. Charges are levied as per our Menu of Fees.

• Your Bluecoat Wealth Management Journey comprises three stages, each with its own cost element:

Stage 3:Regular Communication & Review

To ensure you remain on track. This is charged based on the level of support.

Stage 2:Policy or Portfolio Execution

Monthly commitment fees are offset against any product fees at this stage in the process.

Stage 1:Post Exploration Meeting

Charged at an agreed monthly commitment fee, which will be discussed and agreed with you.
