The prose should read (figuratively not literally) “I am glad we hired LERNER because we achieved…” Be specific and statistical (when possible) about successes/improvements/changes/savings/value additions. Attempt to quantify everything. Don’t exaggerate the success Ex: Saved 20% year-on-year in software development costs Ex: Re-factored our existing ERP system to interface with new claims system acquired as part of a merger Ex: Enabled the new IT to operate at 8% lower costs with improved time to deliver projects
