Evaluation Factors (continued)
Accessibility – Primarily deciding how easy it is to comply with ADA requirements in a segment.
Connectivity – The ease of reaching destinations from the proposed trail. Critical Water Zone (CWQZ) – Indicates whether or not the trail segment is located in this
zone. Erosion Hazard Zone (EHZ) – Indicates whether the trail segment is in the EHZ or not. Floodplain/Drainage Impacts – Indicates whether or not the trail segment is located in the
floodplain and if there are any negative impacts to drainage. Right-of-Way – Indicates if a new easement is required in a trail segment. Obstructions – Indicates if there are features that would impact the location of the trail. Tree Impact – Indicates the impact to trees in a trail segment. Environmental – Indicates the whether or not environmental permits would be required. Cost – Indicates the relative cost in relation to the other options.
