With a well-received first installation at Trafigura SA

headquarters in Geneva, Clestra were awarded a second

contract to install the pleinAir system – with flush double-

glazed doors and automatic sliding doors – at Trafigura

Singapore’s two floors at the Ocean Financial Centre. The

elegant partitioning design provides class, while ensuring

the expected excellent acoustic performance.

The project at Trafigura was an important one for

Clestra. Gilles Marino, South East Asia General Manager

at Clestra explained: “Despite a tight schedule, the Clestra

Singapore project team has been in close coordination

with the designer, project management company and main

contractor to deliver the project on time with a good quality

of products and installation. With its unique and outstanding

interior design, Trafigura Singapore is a prestigious reference

for Clestra in South East Asia.”

The pleinAir system doors integrate seamlessly into the current concept adding to the overall elegance of the design. The flush doors allow for optimisation of space while the impressive acoustics mean your meetings can be held in utmost privacy.

Clestra’s flush double-glazed partitions are perfectly suited for the

healthcare environment, providing ergonomic spaces that ensure

a high standard of hygiene and for patients, a comfortable and

warm environment. Adjustable blinds allow for both the patient’s

supervision and their dignity and privacy in care.

Clestra’s system of modular partitions and ceilings allows

HEALTHCARE: Modern concept places the patient at the heart of the hospital

Thanks to the endeavors of Clestra China factory and Asia

technical team. On 1 March, Clestra successfully passed

1-hour fire rated test of double glazed partition under

China National Center for Quality Supervision and Test of

Fire Building Materials (NFTC). The whole family of Clestra

fire-rated partition now consists of steel, single glazed and

double glazed partition, which are all 100% manufactured

at our own China factory.

We are very proud of having this achievement. Alex

Wong, China General Manager at Clestra explained: “We

believe the demand for fire-rated partition will increase

quickly in China, especially for R &D facilities of different

industries as well as manufacturing facilities.” Clestra, being
