Water temps ranged from 44-54 degrees depending on where you were on the lake. The water was heavily stained in Webb Creek but cleared as you got closer to the river. Reminders....

A HOOK from our President..... With fair weather, we got to see what this club is all about. Father and daughter team Chris and Andi Himstedt took first place at our first tournament of the season. Not only did they take home the first place prize, but Andi got to weigh in her “first ever” tournament fish, and what a fish. The monster weighed in at 7.91 pounds. Don’t know who was prouder, Dad or Andi. Way to go Andi!

Family experiences like this is what this club is all about. Be it father and daughter or son, aunts and nephews or husband and wife, the landing of big bass or, time together is more like landing memories.....it’s worth more than any check you could ever take. So, load the family in the boat and see what memories you can catch this year.

Your President, Andy Shands / Take a kid fishin’

Don’t forget to send in your Tournament Registration to Dan Durbin by Wednesday, April 3rd.

Don’t forget about the Friday Night Big Bass Bash (optional) at the April LOZ Tourna-ment. (See page 8 for details)

Don’t forget that we’re still needing Tournament Directors for upcoming Tournaments. (Check Website for Tournaments still needing Directors)

A special thank you to PamWakim, Ken Jones and Chris Himstedt for donating their time.

We also drew the winning raffle ticket for over $300 worth of tackle. (donated by Ken Jones and Mike Jankowski). The winner was, Marty Hodget from Farmington, Missouri. Congrats Marty!
