Welcome to Clear Construction Qld (CCQ).
Clear Construction Qld was founded by a group of construction professionals with a combined experience of over 50 years in the construction industry. CCQ’s vision is to provide our clients with a complete service from the development of the initial concept and throughout the design, construction and project completion phases. We facilitate this with and through highly skilled and experienced people. Supporting these people are a range of robust and tested systems which drive quality outcomes. CCQ is designed and resourced to ensure a high level of efficiency, professionalism, reliability and security is achieved on our client’s behalf.

A. COMMITMENTS

the pre-construction process. These documents will provide clarity and understanding. They
will be transparent and outline all inclusions, exclusions and ensure there is no confusion or
discrepancies in the construction program.
+ QUALITY• We deliver a high calibre product which exceeds all expectations by only engaging reputable
consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
+ PROGRAMMING• We meet key delivery milestones through the use of best practice tracking and project
management software systems.
+ ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT• We ensure our environmental impact is mitigated by adhering to all environmental
regulations and procedures.
+ SAFETY MANAGEMENT• We maintain a safe work place for all by developing and administering a site specific safety
plan and risk assessment and adhering to all Workplace Health and Safety Regulations.

C. EARLY CONTRACTOR INVOLVEMENT (ECI)
Pivotal to development success is the Early Contractor Involvement principle which we
recommend in every instance regardless of complexity or scale of the project. Involving
the construction experts as early as possible and facilitating collaboration between the
Construction Managers and the Development Consultants will ensure a prudent risk
management strategy. To highlight this, we have attached a diagram. What this diagram sets
out are the stages of a development program from strategy planning to handover. The more
construction expertise you have collaborating at the outset, the better the chance of applying
that expertise towards the successful outcome of the project. If the Builder/Construction
Manager is only involved towards the latter half of the development phase then the ability to
impact change is diminished.
Through our in-house Quantity Surveying capabilities, the project scope can be analysed with a
high degree of experience and skill. An assessment of each facet of the project can be provided

“I was introduced to Clearcon by our Building Designer. Although I have worked with
many builders in the past I wanted to work with a local builder who had the skills needed
to undertake this small but challenging project. Our project consisted of two x 3 Storey
Townhouses and the lift, shift and complete renovation of a pre-war cottage. The site and the
conditions had a number of constraints and so attention to detail and good management
were going to be critical.
I am very pleased with the outcome. There were definitely some challenges on this project.
It was a tight budget and a difficult site with access etc. But the team from Clearcon got the
job done and produced a quality product. They were very good to work with. Always available
and approachable and made me feel part of the team. They were inclusive and worked closely
with me to solve problems and come up with ideas and solutions as the project evolved. They
were reasonable and transparent with all variations and changes to the scope as and when we
needed them to be. Their communication was great.
Overall it was a good result for the project and I would certainly recommend Clearcon as a
builder who is capable and approachable. I look forward to working with them again.“
