CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION SUB-PROGRAMME OF LIFE
Political and regulatory environment: The aim of this intervention area is to build capacity for clean energy policy-making. Support is provided to develop policy dialogue and engage for clean energy transition, putting in place a harmonised regulatory framework across the EU by ensuring that the EU law is properly transposed and enforced, developing and spreading best practice in legislation implementation, coordinating policy interventions at different levels.
Business environment: The aim of this intervention area is to prepare market players for the new conditions required for the clean energy transition. The actions support the development and testing of new business opportunities linked to clean energy. They also support upgrading professional skills, engaging and empowering influencers and adapting existing processes and business landscapes to accelerate market-driven energy transition.
Financial environment: The aim of this intervention area is to leverage finance and improve access to finance for energy transition by acting on both clean energy financing supply and demand. Developing financing demand: Project Development Assistance is provided in order to mainstream investments in clean energy transition by the public and private sector. Developing financing supply: developing sustainable finance framework and products
Socio-cultural environment: The aim of this intervention area is to prepare society for energy transition by increasing public acceptance and consumer engagement and making sure that the benefits of the transition process are equally distributed.
