MATH BINDER ORGANIZATION

Please organize your math binder (with 5 dividers) as follow:

1. Do Now Section

2. Notes/Classwork Section

3. Homework Section

4. Study Guides and Assessments Section

5. Lines Paper Section

MAIN POINTS FROM CLASSROOM PROCEDURES SHEET

All Classroom and School Procedures will be followed!

1. All homework will be fully completed. (ALL problems are attempted and ALL work is shown)

1st marking period ONLY, partial or no homework can be made up for full credit.

2. You will always be prepared for class. (Pencil, Math Binder, CMP3 Book, Calculator, Homework, Notebook Paper, Chromebook fully charged)

Homework grade is 1 point for completed problems, 1 point for being prepared. 2 points total.

3. You will respect others and myself.

MAIN POINTS FROM CLASSROOM PROCEDURES SHEET

4. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make up missed work.

All absent work will be in the appropriate folder on the wall with your name on it.

5. You will always come to class on time. If you are late and do not have a pass, you must sign tardy list. 3 tardy in one

marking period is a detention.

6. It is your responsibility to seek extra help with specific questions. (After school help is not private tutoring).

7. When you are finished with work, raise your hand and ask what work to do next.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO NOT FOLLOW PROCEDURES…

1st – Warning (Will be documented) * If your behavior is severely inappropriate or worse, you will be asked to leave the classroom and go to the Attendance Office.

2nd – Parental Contact

3rd – Detention

* If your behavior still doesn't improve after teacher detention, then you will receive a principles detention.
