Homework Your child will receive one half termly learning log activity, termly maths LEARN IT tasks, weekly spellings and weekly reading tasks. Show and Tell- Monday All children are invited to bring something from home to share during their pastoral group. Special Mentions assembly- Friday Children are welcomed to bring any special out of school achievements to show during assembly. Please take any awards to the office on Friday morning. All parents/carers are also welcome to attend. We aim to inform you by text in advance if your child is receiving a mention. Support your child by encouraging them to blend unfamiliar words and read words they recognise fluently. Also develop their comprehension skills by asking them questions about the text, having them retrieve information from the book and retelling stories. From next week children who have four daily reading acknowledgements in their diary from their adult will enter the weekly reading prize draw.
