    Original Class Problem

The bookshelves are blocking the windows, thus the ventilation of the roomgood. This will cause lack of oxygen in the classroom

The computer workstation should not be placed near to the toilet. The wastebasket should be nearer to the pencil sharpener. So, the students c

throw the dust in the wastebasket. The students' tables at the front left side oclassroom are too long. This will cause a lot of distraction to the student whthe back.

There are too many students for a small group. If there are too many studenmight can't focus and play around with the peers.

Original Class Problem There is one student who sit alone at the back of the class. This will make him feel

in the classroom. Teacher's desk should be placed in front of the class. So that, teacher can easily mo

classroom. There is one bookshelf that is place in the between of water filter and sink. This is

because the book might be spoil if they are expose to humidity. We don't need too much closets in the classroom. Thus, we can save more space for

classroom. Book center should not be placed at the front because it will block the students view

    chalkboard.

    Our Arrangement

The teachers desk should be as close as possible toboth students desks and the chalkboard as it will easethe roaming from his/her desk to both places wherehe/she is most needed at. This will lessen the time

taken to go from and to his/her desk; as compared tothe original classroom arrangement.

The 6 students closest to the teachers desk should bepupils of problems in terms of learning abilities orbehavioural abilities. The pupils also should get a

chance to take turns in monthly period of differentseats so everyone can get a chance to feel how tostudy with different partners and surroundings.

Pencil sharpener area should be closest with therubbish bin as this will lessen the mess done by thestudents. This area also should be near a window asthis should help recycle unwanted smell dumped by

the students in the bin that is not only filled by pencil waste, but other wastes too.

A lot of windows should be implemented as this willhelp the air cycle in the class. Too much of a heat willdisturb the pupils will to study. Should be mentionedalso that pupils of a class produce all sorts of smellespecially when it comes to post-recess and in the

    afternoon.

    Our Arrangement

If compared to the original classroom arrangement, aclassroom arrangement is not efficient in group

discussion if a class consists of 28 students but onlyhave one round desk. At least 2 round desks at the

back of the class is better for a better groupdiscussions or hands-on activities.

Toilets in a class is not suitable in Malaysia as the hotenvironment may help in promoting bad odour from

the toilet being mixed into the class and will createbad studying environment.

2 closets would be enough as adding another closet is waste of classroom space. Replacing the closet nearest

to the door with windows would be a better idea asthe classroom will be lit with natural light and help tobrighten up the class; apart from having a better air

flow for a cooler and cosier classroom.

Bookshelves, book rack and computer workstationshould be closely arranged as all three co-relate witheach other. Probably when doing an activity at the

computer workstation, a book must be fetched. Witha close arrangement of these three things, it will beeasier for the pupils to carry out a specific activity at

    the computer workstation.

    Our Arrangement

Computer workstation should be as far as possiblefrom the pupils desks. Pupils are easily attracted to

such technology that it would help them lose focus of what is beaing taught at the chalkboard.

Based on the original classroom arrangement, bookracks are not meant to be placed beside a sink.

Logically, books will get wet and ruined because of water contact that might happen. Not only books that

will be ruined, the rack will also be ruined due tohumidity of the nearby sink.
