The organisers have pleasure in inviting you to the next Classic Channel Regatta.

We extend a very warm welcome to all owners of eligible classic yachts to take part in the fifthClassic Channel Regatta in July 2013.

The regatta is a uniquely enjoyable week of ‘gentleman’s’ racing, passage making and social events. In just one week, while sailing to three of the finest ports in the Channel, there are two days of racingoff Dartmouth, the Classic Channel Race to Paimpol, the Round Ile de Brehat Race,a passage race to Guernsey and the Round Sark Race.

The regatta has its own distinct Westcountry and Breton ambiance. There is scope to take the racing as competitively as you wish and the atmosphere in harbour and ashore is all very informal, with a great mix of fine yachts and their crews from Britain, France, Belgium, Holland, Ireland and further afield.

Racing will be under the JCH Classic Handicap and there will also be a cruising class for those preferring not to race.

Eligibility – classic yachts launched before the end of 1976, built in any material, and more recent yachts built in classic and traditional style are eligible – full details are on the regatta website.

We hope you will want to join us for the whole regatta, but you can enter the various sectors as you wish. For this fifth biennial regatta we are aiming to have a fleet of 100 classic yachts racing acrossthe Channel in the Classic Channel Race – we do hope you will want to be a part of this great event.

Welcome to “the world’s most enjoyable classic regatta” «Owner of Marianna after the 2009 regatta».
