I will take you to the otherside.”The boy helped the old woman. He led her across the road.He did the good deed. He was happy. He said, ‘I helpedsomebody’s mother. THE TWO FROGS
Two frogs were playing on a rainy day. They hopped and hopped and came intoa house. There was a churn of milk. Both the frogs fell into the churn. Both the frogs tried for some time, but in vain. One of the frogs lost hope and said,“I can’t swim any more” and he drowned to the bottom. The other did not lose hope.He kept on swimming. His movements churned the milk into butter. The frog climbed on to a pat of butter and hopped out of the churn.MORAL : God helps those who help themselves.
THE HONEST GOAT
A goat named Rolly was grazing in the forest. She heard the roar of a lion. The lion came in front of her. He lifted his paw to kill her.The goat started to cry. She said, “My baby is only one week old. Please let me go and leave him with my sister. After that I will come back.”The lion laughed and said, “You will not come back.” She promised to come back soon. At last, the lion let her go.Rolly ran to meet her baby. The baby cried. Rolly told her sister about her promise. She left her baby with her sister and went back to the lion. The lion was surprised to see the goat. He saw tears in her eyes. He said, “You are very honest. I will not kill you. Go back to your baby.”Rolly ran back to her baby. The mother and her baby were very happy.MORAL : Honesty is the best Policy.
