Students will work on individual projects whether it’s basic sewing skills, making pillows, bags, fabric art proj- ects or learning to quilt. Come have some creative fun while you learn. You are also welcome to work on your own projects. December we will work on Christmas items. Ages 8- unlimited. Limit 6 students in the class, adults can learn with the kids. Embroidery Club4th Saturday of the MonthEach month you will have the opportunity to try a new technique with your embroidery machine. This class is designed to help you become very familiar with your machines capabilities and many uses you may not be aware of. For example, making lace, quilting in the hoop, paper piecing, monograms, hard to hoop items, texture and more. Of course, there will be the basic projects also to get you going if machine embroidery is new to you. This is a free class if your embroidery machine was purchased at Howell’s. A supply list will be available each month and you may want to purchase the designs used.

CHRISTMAS IN JULYChristmas Tree Table TopperThis class will be two consecutive days with home-work after. If you need to, come back next month and finish. Ruler Play 2 - Feathers, Circles, & More!

Picking up where Ruler Play ends, the templates include different feather styles with both curved and straight spines, spinning feathers, and Baptist Fan motifs, expanding the student’s design selection and template handling skills. SPACEY LACY BOWLThis is a quick and easy project that you can com-plete in just a few hours. Just pick someone’s favorite color and you’re off! Looks great in holiday colors, too. Use Sulky Cotton Blendables and cotton yarn for a dif-ferent look, or for a dressy look use Sulky Metallics. Use snippets of coordinating fabric and maybe some trims or special ribbons and yarns.
