CLASS OF 2015CAREER OUTCOMES REPORT
METHODOLOGYData were collected for a 12 month period beginning February 2015 and ending February 2016.
This report includes Calvin College graduates from July 2014 through June 2015. The statistics in this report are based on information received through multiple sources, including the following reporting methods:
• Senior Class Destination Survey
• Alumni Online Survey
• Faculty and staff reporting
• Email communication
Department chairs and faculty were asked to gather information on graduates who had not reported. In June 2015–February 2016, the career development office followed up with graduates.
Internship information was obtained from the graduate surveys and the Career Center’s college-wide internship database.
HIGHLIGHTS• 81% knowledge rate (percent of class
from which data was received)
• 85.8% had at least one internship/ practicum while at Calvin.
• 73.3% are professionally employed while 25% are in graduate school.
• 1.1% are employed but seeking better employment and .6% are not employed.
• 56.6% reported residing in Michigan and 91.6% in the United States.
