Apple have prepared three new iphone ads in which, instead of highlighting the iphones features, they went for benefits.

Apple is not the best when it comes to marketing and emphasizing their products qualities.

Many people seem to think Apple is deliberately “bricking” hacked iphones with a software update as payback for users having the temerity to hack the devices. Apple takes a neutral stance.

Iphones are a good device to have nowadays, and within time everyone will have one. If you run into update problems, they can be fixed.

You don’t want your ipod to end up looking like a PC. These are more like ipods than they are computers.

Apple should have had locked and unlocked versions available on day one, with the locked version being $200 cheaper. The consumer would have then had a choice.
